Tsinghua hosts job fair for 2024 graduates
On March 15, Tsinghua University organized a large-scale job fair,which aimed at facilitating employment opportunities for its 2024 graduates.
More than 430 employers from 29 provinces and cities in China attended the event and offered many job openings. The fair demonstrated inclusion, with 140 firms expressing interest in hiring international students. The university provided multilingual assistance and individual counselors to facilitate the recruitment process for these candidates.
The job fair was structured into three sessions to accommodate various industries. The first session on the morning of March 15 featured 130 companies from IT, infrastructure construction, finance, and cultural and academic sectors. Over 120 pillar industry employers attended the second session in the afternoon. Over 170 organizations, most of which are from the west and northeast of China, are expected during the last session on March 16.
The job fair drew a large number of students eager to explore their future career options. Qin Sibo, a final year master's student from the Department of Energy and Power Engineering, is joining a famous Guangxi program for selected graduates due to the region's development potential and career growth opportunities.
The event, which will conclude on March 16, marks a pivotal moment for Tsinghua University's 2024 graduates as they prepare to embark on their professional journeys.
